At the end of a beautiful evening at the Élysées Biarritz which brought together more than 200 packaging and packaging specialists, the 2022 vintage of the Oscar for packaging is now known. Like every year, the winners are published in the December issue ofMagazine Packaging while the files of the candidates are presented in theannual packaging. Many thanks to the members of the four juries who devoted their time to analyzing and dissecting the files in order to distinguish the winners. This edition benefited from the support of All4pack Emballage Paris (Comexposium), Corrugated Board of France (CoF), the Group of process and packaging equipment manufacturers for the food and non-food industries (Geppia), MGI and Photosynthesis. A big thank you to Carlos Rodrigues from Col de cygne who again made the trophy this year, a shaper for a vertical bagger. Many thanks also to Comexposium and Fabrice Peltier who offered a copy of Experimenting with new solutions to the winners.
In section ” glass », won an Oscar for the Flûte Gothic de Verallia packaging, for Domaines Paul Mas. This faceted bottle comes from the Verallia Design Awards (VDA) competition. Were named Rémy Martin for a decanter from Atelier Thiery and Verallia for the Arsène bottle.
In section ” cardboard won a Candia Packaging Oscar for the paper packaging of Nature de Breton butter developed by Richard Laleu. Accent diffusion were named for the Woopak packaging in Paptic for the Blanrêve duvets and pillows, Cosfibel premium for the Chivas Ultis and two molded cellulose creations by James Cropper Colourform for La Vie est belle – Domaine de la rose by Lancôme and Pusterla for the Dom Ruinart champagne case.
In section ” plastic won an Oscar from Laita packaging for Wipak’s polyethylene (PE) bag of Paysan Breton grated Emmental cheese.
In section ” flexible and complex packaginge”, won an Oscar for packaging Leygatech, with its partners Geneomat, Natur’al Packaging, Mecapack and STTP, for the sealing film for reusable trays.
Magazine Packaging also presented an Oscar for packaging to Focus broadcast for Woopak packaging in Paptic adopted by Blanrêve.
In section ” graphic design and identity won a James Cropper Colourform packaging Oscar for La Vie est belle – Domaine de la rose, by Lancôme. Was named Ets Paulet for the refit of Petit Navire.
In section “usable features”won an Oscar for packaging Pierre Fabré for his sachet of Elgydium toothpaste. Were named Goglio for PillowUp, Ilapak and Maison Le Goff for the collaborative paper packaging project for cookies and Smurfit Kappa for the PodBox corrugated cardboard solution dedicated to bulk.
In section “ retention features won a Raja Packaging Oscar for Climaliner insulated packaging. Were named Goglio for a compostable coffee capsule with degassing valve and Gascogne Sacs for the Gascogreen.Protect+ bags.
In section “ primary packaging », won an Oscar for packaging Ilapak and Maison Le Goff for the collaborative paper packaging project for cookies. Was named Massilly for the My-Cap 3000 eco machine.
In section “ industrial packaging “, won an Oscar from Raja packaging for the Ouatbox cushioning plate.
In section ” promising beginnings won a Sealester Packaging Oscar for Sealester Tech’s digital welding technology. Was named Massilly for the My-Cap 3000 eco machine.
In section “Iprinting and digital technologies won an MGI packaging Oscar for the Octopus machine. Was named Domino for Domino K300i.
In section ” packaging », won a second packaging Oscar Leygatech, with its partners Geneomat, Natur’al Packaging, Mecapack and STTP, for the reusable tray sealing film.
In section “ machine », won an Oscar from Massilly packaging for the My-Cap 3000 eco capper.
Tied for a packaging Oscar from CEE Packaging Solutions for the Earth Cup cardboard lid and Smurfit Kappa for the PodBox corrugated bulk solution.
Won a Packaging Oscar Agathe Theunissen from the European School of Packaging (Esepac) for a reusable roll-on.
