It’s official, Spider-Man is at the Oscars!

This is Netflix which is already winning this list of nominees. Indeed, the streaming platform has managed to place several of the films it distributes, including Don’t Look Up: Cosmic Denial, tick, tick…BOOM! and especially The Power of the Dog. Indeed, thanks to the latter, Netflix is ​​the most Oscar-nominated film production company for the second year in a row. Among the films nominated several times, we will mention Dune and its ten nominations, West Side Story and Belfast with seven nominations each, The Williams Method with six nominations, but also CODA, an Apple TV + film which still manages with three nominations . Note, another actor already present in the Spider-Man films, Samuel L. Jackson, will be awarded an honorary Oscar for all of his rich and long career. Two other honorary Oscars will be awarded to Elaine May and Liv Ullman, as well as a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Danny Glover.

The Oscars ceremony will take place on March 27.
