It is under this theme “From heart and audacity” that the city of L’Ancienne-Lorette will officially launch the festivities tonight surrounding its 350th anniversary of foundation with a large free outdoor show. A festive family event combining culture, history and colorful performances will therefore be held from 7 p.m., on the grounds behind the Marie-Victorin library, at 1635, rue Notre-Dame, and will offer for 90 minutes theatrical entertainment, screenings multimedia shows, performances by the Flip Fabrique circus, Loretan singer Jérôme 50 and artists from the Huron-Wendat Nation, not to mention a fireworks display. Gaetan Pageau, mayor of L’Ancienne-Lorette, invites the entire population of the greater Quebec City region to come and celebrate with their loved ones. Full details are available at https://www.350ans.org. The event will be postponed to the following day in the event of a storm or freezing rain.
