TELLY executives are scrambling to sign up This Morning host Alison Hammond.
I can reveal that the daytime ITV darling is set to land her own show on rival channel Sky, having also been signed up for the BBC1 game show I Can See Your Voice, and has just starred in the ad Sainsbury’s Christmas.
A TV insider said: “It remains to be seen whether the bosses at This Morning will give her a higher salary and a higher profile role on the show to ensure she stays with them.
“Otherwise, the Sky show is unlikely to be the last tempting offer she receives.”
Alison is still angry after being hired to face a reboot of classic game show Wheel Of Fortune for ITV, only for it to be scrapped – which makes the similar new Sky show an even sweeter prospect.
Alison is certainly on the right track, having narrowly missed out on Best Presenter at this year’s National Television Awards to Ant and Dec.
Since then she has appeared on BBC1 in programs such as The Wheel and I Can See Your Voice.
After rising to fame in Big Brother in 2002 on Channel 4, Alison only needs one Channel 5 show and she will have the full set.
AMANDA AND ALAN AIR SHOW
PLANE passengers had more than expected this summer, thanks to Alan Carr and Amanda Holden.
The couple were renovating a house in Sicily for their new BBC show, Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, which traveled back and forth between Blighty and the Mediterranean island.

Amanda said: “They know us very well on Ryanair!
“We entertained at times when we were seated. . . There were a few delays so we entertained the whole flight.
Alan said: “I took my speakers out at one point when we were on the tannoy.
“A little nifty! And had powerful ballads.
“We had a ball. I had every piece of panini, even bought a scratch card.
“Although there was a disaster when there was no ice for our rose.”
Until they go from national treasures to national embarrassments. . .
new year new life
FORMER Corrie actress Rebecca Ryan is expecting her first child with husband Dan Acraman.
Showing off her baby bump on social media, she wrote: “I thought this year couldn’t get any better after marrying the man of my dreams, but it turns out it can.
“I can’t wait to become a mom in 2023.”
GRANT’S A NEVER ENDER…
FORMER EastEnders tough man Ross Kemp has urged show bosses never to kill off his character, Grant Mitchell.
Actor and host of the BBC1 game show, The Bridge has made sensational documentaries since leaving the Square in 1999.

However, he insists he will always be open to a return to the BBC1 soap opera – as happened briefly in 2005 and 2016.
But Bafta contender Ross would only do so if he was thrown into a plot that interests him – namely, a plot where Grant is Walford’s top dog once again.
He said: “Hopefully they keep the character alive.
“He was an integral part of the show for ten years and I’ve been diving and diving ever since.
“Grant is a great character. I wouldn’t want to go back to finish him off, I would want to go back to make sure he rules the Square again.
I’m sure his on-screen brother, Phil, would have something to say about that. . .
MADE In Chelsea star Jamie Laing was rushed to hospital after struggling to breathe.
His fiancée, Sophie Habboo, took to her Instagram Stories to reveal he was taken to A&E after his ‘asthma got out of hand’ – and the culprit was revealed to be his new puppy, Little Bobbie, who he is allergic.
