Le Mans Sarthe Basket formalizes the arrival of combo guard Deishuan Booker (1.91 m, 24 years old) for the 2021-2022 season.

The MSB is the third Betclic Elite team to complete its recruitment after Roanne and Dijon. Trained in a Californian university, it is in the Czech Republic that the native of Las Vegas began his professional career in 2019-2020 in Nymburk. Quarter-finalist of the BCL, in a secondary role (10.0 points in 20 minutes), Deishuan Booker was logically promoted last summer to lead another good European team: Anwil Wloclawek. Despite solid individual performances (15.3 points to 48.0% on shots including 41.5% at 3-points, 5.4 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals for 19.9 evaluation in 10 matches), he suffered from a sluggish start to the season in Poland and was sidelined in early November to land, two months later, in Germany. In Göttingen, he mainly applied himself to feeding his teammates (8.9 points to 43.7% on shots, including 41.2% at 3-points, 4.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 0.9 interception for 8.9 evaluation in 24 matches), starting with the former Villeurbanne Rihards Lomazs and the future Portelois Luke Nelson.
