The literary festival, back in Le Havre for its 10th edition, offers an eclectic program on Saturday January 22, 2022. “Paris-Normandie” has made a selection among the many appointments.
1. Meeting with Leïla Slimani and David Diop
An exceptional meeting with David Diop and Leïla Slimani, who are both among the most respected figures of French literature worldwide. David Diop was the first French writer to be awarded the very prestigious International Booker Prize for his novel soul brother, also the 2018 Goncourt High School Students Prize and translated into sixteen countries. Leïla Slimani, vogue from success to success since the Goncourt awarded to Soft song, a novel that took him around the world.

2. Interview with Clara Dupont-Monod
Clara Dupont-Monod, journalist and publisher, is the winner of the Prix Femina, the Prix Landerneau and the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens 2021, for Adapt, a magnificent and luminous story about the birth of a disabled child told by his siblings. The story of a misfit child who draws an invisible boundary between his family and others, in the midst of protective mountains.
At 5 p.m. in the atrium of the Oscar-Niemeyer Library.
3. Karl Lagerfeld told by Marie Ottavi
This man who we thought we knew, by dint of dazzling parades and sensational declarations, will have carried away in his death more than one secret. An inspired creator, endowed with an immense culture, the German couturier and photographer Karl Lagerfeld had several lives that the journalist Marie Ottavi tells us.
At 7:30 p.m. at the Atrium of the Oscar-Niemeyer Library.
4. An evening with Mazarine Pingeot
Mazarine, a first name that was on everyone’s lips one morning in November 1994 – and a life suddenly exposed to everyone’s curiosity. A family secret that has become a state secret, Mazarine Pingeot has never ceased to free herself from it through a literary work that today includes some fifteen novels, stories and essays. Reading short excerpts from her books, some images and songs from the period will be added to complete the portrait of the author.

5. Mindfulness meditation workshops
A moment for yourself, with others… Stop acting to feel like you exist and give up, for a moment, waiting for something specific. During this workshop, you will be invited to experiment with some mindful meditative practices.

Rover in concert
Giant with the voice of an angel, Rover returns to the stage with Eiskeller (ice cellar, in German), a third album written alone in the fourth basement of an old 19th century icehouse.
