Bungie lays off nearly 300 staff as destiny 2 ends content updates

Video game developer bungie, acquired by Sony in 2022 for $3.6 billion, has announced layoffs affecting nearly 300 staff members at its Bellevue, Washington office. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the Washington State Employment Security Department, 292 employees will lose their jobs as of July 9.
