Disney’s 2023 Golden Globe Nominations | Disneyphile

Nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed this Monday, December 12, 2022. A total of 27 film and television categories were unveiled by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and the winners will be announced on January 10 in a live television broadcast on the American networks NBC and Peacock. at the Beverly Hilton, hosted by Jerrod Carmichael.

42 nominations for Disney at the 2023 Golden Globes

The Globes return after a year-long absence amid an overhaul of the HFPA, which has undergone reforms and reshuffles after questionable practices surrounding its governance and membership were uncovered. The group has enhanced the racial and ethnic diversity of its members. He also killed the practice of accepting gifts and launched a hotline to report wrongdoing.

Among today’s categories will be four new ones from the TV side, expanding its nominations to supporting roles.
