Discover the series nominations for the 80ᵉ Golden Globes ceremony, which will be held on January 11.
Prize season is open! The Golden Globes have unveiled the list of series nominated for its 80th edition, which will be held on January 11. As every year, the choice is made from the votes of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, an organization of foreign journalists.
Among the most popular fictions, we find in first position the comic series Abbott Elementary, little known in France but a great success in the United States. She collected no less than five nominations. Just after, we find the big boxes of the year, like Dahmer, season 5 of The Crown, season 2 of The White Lotus, which each culminate in four nominations. Without forgetting House of the Dragon with two nominations.
Other series have made less noise, especially in France, but have proven themselves to critics, such as Only Murders In The Bulding and Pam & Tommy – four nominations. For their final seasons, Ozark and Better Call Saul also received acclaim. Note that actress Julia Garner is nominated for both Ozark and Inventing Anna.
Finally, among the good surprises, we find the Andor series, named for its actor, Diego Luna, but also Wednesday, the latest phenomenon from Netflix with two nominations.
For the results, see you next January 11.
