Dissidia duellum's pc future uncertain amid fan disappointment
Following a lackluster reception for Dissidia NT on console and the mobile game Opera Omnia's closure, Square Enix unveiled Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy six months ago as its new spin-off bet. Released on March 24, this competitive 3v3 arena game has players racing to defeat the stage boss. A potential PC version may be in the works, but fans remain skeptical given past mobile Final Fantasy failures.

Available exclusively on mobile (Android and iOS), Dissidia Duellum recovers the classic Bravura point system but tweaked for shorter, 1-2 minute matches designed for casual play on a smartphone screen. Two weeks in, Square Enix has discussed plans to bring the game to PC in an interview with Siliconera.
Producer Naoya Matsumoto explained the vertical screen layout was chosen for its competitive casual gameplay that's easily accessible to anyone. He added,
