Hbo unveils bizarre multiverse spinoff 'stuart fails to save the universe'

HBO has given a first look at its upcoming multiverse series 'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe', a spinoff of 'The Big Bang Theory' starring comic book store owner Stuart Bloom. The show, described as a 'sci-fi action comedy', will debut on HBO Max this summer.

Stuart and friends try, and fail, to fix reality across the multiverse.

In this bizarre-sounding series, the gang will attempt to repair the consequences of Sheldon and Leonard's invention, which has devastating multiverse-destroying effects. Stuart is joined by supporting characters Denise, Bert, and Barry as they navigate a war-torn setting and encounter alternate versions of other 'Big Bang Theory' characters.

While the concept may seem far-fetched, there's significant interest in revisiting the original show's universe and characters seven years after its finale. The Big Bang Theory's first spinoff, 'Young Sheldon', ended a successful seven-season run in 2024 and spawned its own prequel series 'Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage', already renewed for a third season.
