This marks a home run for the studio, given Hahn's scene-stealing performances as Agatha Harkness in WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Her portrayal of the morally ambiguous character earned widespread acclaim, making her an ideal fit for the devious Mother Gothel.

The live-action Tangled has been in and out of development since December 2024, with the main cast now set, featuring Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider.
