Lenore Zann Celebrates Inde Navarrette as New Live-Action Rogue

Lenore Zann, the voice of Rogue in animated Marvel projects for decades, congratulated Inde Navarrette on being cast as the live-action version of the character in the upcoming X-Men reboot.

The announcement, made at D23 2026, marked a significant moment for comic book movie fans, particularly with the unveiling of the MCU’s new X-Men cast.

Inde Navarrette, known for her role in Obsession, was officially selected to portray Rogue, a role previously held by Anna Paquin for over a decade. This will be the first time the character appears in a live-action Marvel film since 2014.

Zann, who originated the animated Rogue voice in the original X-Men series and reprised the role in the Disney+ series X-Men ‘97, expressed her excitement on social media. “Well, hey there, y’all,” Zann said in a video channeling Rogue’s Southern accent. “This here is Lenore Zann a.k.a. Rogue of the X-Men, coming to you today from beautiful Dublin, Ireland. I just want to give a shoutout to Inde Navarrette, the actress who was just named to play Rogue in the upcoming Marvel movie of the X-Men.”

Zann added, “I can’t wait to meetcha, sugar! I will be coming back to North America in the next month, so I look forward to that day.
