Movistar plus+ suffers major overhaul, golf 2 por m+ officially leaving

Movistar Plus+, Spain's leading pay-TV operator, has undergone significant changes to its channel lineup. Effective immediately, nine sports channels have been removed from the platform, with one departure marking a permanent farewell.

Golf 2 por m+ bids adiós

After three years, Golf 2 por M+ has officially left Movistar Plus+. The channel, which occupied dial 68, will no longer provide daily programming for subscribers. Golf enthusiasts can now only access Golf por M+ on dial 67 as part of the Deportes Total package, priced at 29 euros per month.

This unexpected move hints at a broader reshuffling within Movistar Plus+. The upcoming launch of new basketball channels, Baloncesto por M+, further substantiates this theory.

Champions league channels temporarily disappear

In a cyclical pattern, eight temporary Champions League channels (dials 182-189) have been removed until next season's 2026/2027 campaign. These channels will return as needed, leaving seven permanent Champions League and international football channels for subscribers to enjoy.
