Pokémon Go and LEGO Forge a Limited-Edition Partnership, Boosting In-Game Rewards
Pokémon Go players
in the U.S., Europe, and Australia are receiving a significant boost thanks to a new collaboration between the mobile game and LEGO. Participating LEGO Stores are now hosting all-day raids and sponsored PokéStops, offering exclusive in-game rewards – a welcome development following Pokémon Go’s recent European events in Copenhagen.Exclusive LEGO Rewards Await
The partnership delivers daily all-day raids, each awarding players with a special Pikachu featuring a unique LEGO-themed background. Spinning the sponsored PokéStops yields LEGO Pokémon stickers, adding a tangible element to the digital experience. Notably, players can unlock an in-game Stamp Rally simply by visiting a participating store, earning another Pikachu and tracking their progress across multiple locations.

Store Locations and Expanding Reach
With over 200 stores now involved, pinpointing the nearest location is straightforward via an interactive map. The U.S. boasts a significant presence, with most states featuring at least one participating store. Europe, particularly the UK – with approximately 20 locations including four in London – and mainland European nations like France, Germany, and Poland, are also benefiting. Interestingly, LEGO stores in Denmark, the parent company’s home base, remain conspicuously absent from the rollout.
LEGO’s Next Set: Iconic Trainer Moments
This summer marks Pokémon Go’s 10th anniversary, and the game is gearing up for its Go Fest Finale event, promising new Mega Pokémon and other surprises. Meanwhile, LEGO is preparing a fresh wave of Pokémon sets, including the highly anticipated ‘Iconic Trainer Moments: Poké Ball’ set, priced at $299.99. This set will be the first to feature LEGO Pokémon minifigures, offering a tangible connection to the digital world. The ‘We Build LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise’ set will also be released on October 1st, providing fans with opportunities to recreate their favorite Pokémon in brick form.
A Strategic Alliance
Tom Phillips, IGN’s News Editor, noted that this collaboration represents a clever integration of physical and digital experiences, capitalizing on the enduring popularity of both Pokémon Go and LEGO. The initiative effectively leverages the brand recognition of LEGO to drive engagement within the Pokémon Go ecosystem, offering a tangible reward for players’ time and investment.
