A recent Steam discovery has revealed additional features and locations not previously mentioned in the game's promotional campaign.

One notable example is the 'Quid Pro Quo' achievement, which players can earn by constructing and delivering a faction outpost. Outposts were a criticized aspect of Starfield at launch but have since received improvements making them more appealing.

Two other intriguing achievements point to previously unmentioned locations. 'Dominion of Magnetism' requires a task in New Babylon, a location that does not exist in the base game and was not mentioned by developers during the Terran Armada DLC promotion.

Another achievement, 'Frequency Increased,' is linked to improving Delta, the companion pet in the DLC, to its maximum potential. This upgrade was not announced during marketing, leading many players to speculate that Bethesda might be holding back information on significant additions.

The update and DLC launch simultaneously on April 7th, giving players their first chance to experience these new features and see if they're enough to turn around user opinions.
