Warner bros. games shaves a week off lego batman: legacy of the dark knight's release
Warner Bros. Games has announced a surprise move, bringing forward the launch date of its eagerly anticipated LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Instead of hitting shelves on May 29, the open-world adventure will now debut a week earlier, on May 22.

Lego batman: legacy of the dark knight soars to may 22 release
This news comes hot off the heels of an earlier trailer drop, captioned 'You signaled, He answered.' The reveal was made possible by the recent delay of Grand Theft Auto 6, which had previously occupied the same spring launch window.
'We knew we wanted to come out in the spring of this year,' TT Games' Head of Production and Strategic Director Jonathan Smith told IGN. 'Look, I want to play that game, but we're also really glad to have some space for people to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. We're giving you an open city and a fantastic experience for all players. Which I thoroughly recommend.'
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight promises a sprawling Gotham City to explore as either Batman or a roster of familiar allies, including Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jim Gordon, Talia Al Ghul, and Catwoman. With a playable cast of just seven characters, TT Games is balancing the old and new to celebrate the best of the Caped Crusader's many exploits, as IGN noted in its hands-on preview: 'LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was the Arkham game you've been waiting for.'
