Four French men and women are in the running for the Golden Globes 2022, cocorico!

The 2022 Golden Globes will be held on January 9 in Los Angeles, and among the nominees, there are several French and French women. Suffice to say that we are quite proud!

The Golden Globes, the American film and television awards given out each year, will be back on January 9, in Los Angeles. And this 79th ceremony sees a whole panel of French stars integrate the list of nominees, for our greatest pride!

Which French actors are nominated for the 2022 Golden Globes?

Marion Cotillard is so named in the category “best actress in a comedy or musical” for her role in the formidable Annette by Leos Carax. She will compete alongside Jennifer Lawrence (Don’t Look Up), Emma Stone (cruella) and Rachel Zegler (West Side Story).

Tahar Rahim, for his part, is appointed in the category “best actor in a mini-series” for The snakethe somewhat disjointed and crazy Netflix program which has nevertheless enjoyed great success on the platform.

Omar Sy is itself named in the category “best actor in a drama series” for Lupinea global card, and Alexandre Desplat (who already has two Oscars to his credit) is nominated in the category “best film music” for the soundtrack of The French Dispatch which he composed, like thousands of others for the cinema.

A quartet that we no longer present in France, or even abroad, and which radiates ever more in the name of our beautiful culture!
