Banda Fortuna gets its first Latin Grammy nomination, with album produced by Luciano Luna

The Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciencesmade known to the nominees for the Latin Grammy 2022, one of the most important awards in the music industry, which will take place on Thursday, November 17 at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The state of Sinaloa, Mexico, will be present at the 23rd delivery of these awards, since several groups originating from this land, a hotbed of talent, were nominated to receive the golden gramophone.

One of these groups has been Fortune Band, originally from Guamúchil, Sinaloa, one of the great projects carried out by the composer, singer and music producer Luciano Lunaborn in the land of Pedro Infante.

Banda Fortuna received its first Latin Grammy nominationin the category “Best Band Music Album”, for his album “Va de nuevo”, produced by Luciano Luna. “My people, we are very happy because we woke up with a pleasant surprise, we are nominated for the Latin Grammys as ‘Best band album,'” said Chan Espinoza, vocalist of the group.

Miguel Romero, another of the vocalists of Banda Fortuna, mentioned that this nomination is not only theirs, but also their entire audience, “thank you very much for all the support, encouragement.”

Banda Fortuna is nominated in this shortlist together with Banda El Recodo by Don Cruz Lizárraga (“This life is very beautiful”), The Recoditos (“I feel like giving”), The Sebastianes Band (“Without fear of success – deluxe”) and Chiquis Rivera (“Queen Bee”, album also produced by Luciano Luna from Sinaloa).

For its part, Luciano Luna expressed his joy and gratitude, since two albums produced by him were nominated for “Best Band Music Album”in addition to the fact that there are songs of his own, in four of the five albums chosen by the members of The Academy, for this list, “what a blessing, thanks to the Latin Grammys.”
