BTS: “Butter” rehearsal for the 2022 Grammys
Characterized by the curious interaction of Taehyung and Olivia Rodrigo, along with the arrival of Jungkook on stage on a platform, the presentation of “Butter” was one of the most talked about musical numbers of the gala.
On April 27, Weverse Magazine published an article about BTS’s time at the 2022 Grammys and how the boyband’s rehearsals went. Choreographer and creative director Son Sung Deuk commented that he “really realized that if BTS rehearsed, it should be the full seven of them, as they shine when they come together as a team.”
In addition, Son Sung Deuk pointed out that because Jungkook and J-Hope were quarantined due to COVID-19 and Jin was in a bad way, Taehyung, Jimin, Suga and Namjoon had to rehearse alone. “Their individual skills aren’t really important, but the harmony of all seven members. I was amazed at the synergy they showed once they were all together,” he commented.
