The award-winning Puerto Rican singer-songwriter is a unique and unmatched voice, telling the stories of 21st century women through her expressive performances and highly perceptive lyrics. Winner of six Latin Grammys throughout her career, Kany García released her first album, ‘Cualquier Día’ in 2007. During the last 14 years, she has written and performed some of the most important Latin pop hits, such as ‘Hoy I’m leaving now’, ‘Someone’, ‘Hurts Less’ and ‘Forever’. Her fifth studio album ‘Soy Yo’ (2018) was named one of the 50 best Latin albums of the decade by Billboard, and the music video for her single “Banana Papaya” featuring Residente won the Latin Grammy 2019 in the category of Best Music Video. In 2019, he released his sixth album Contra El Viento which was crowned Best Singer-Songwriter Album at the Latin Grammys. In the same year, Kany gave a historic concert in The Coliseum of Puerto Rico which was recorded for an HBO special.
