The 23rd edition of the Latin Grammys will be held on Thursday, November 17 at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, United States. More than 20 Venezuelans are present in this year’s nominations.
Apart from these nominations, in this edition the Venezuelan singer Yordano will be awarded with the gramophone for Musical Excellence, which will be delivered by the Board of Directors of the Latin Recording Academy.

A peculiar phenomenon of this edition is that the Best Instrumental Album category is dominated by Creole artists, since four of the five nominations were for Venezuelans. The rapper Akapellah competes in the categories: Best Urban Music Album and Best Rap Song.
The singer Arca managed to enter the category of Best Alternative Music Album. In addition, Dani Barón is competing for the Best Arrangement award.

Elena Rose, Venezuelan-American singer-songwriter, participated in four albums nominated for Album of the Year. She also collaborated on the song “Mamiii” for Karol G and Becky G, which was nominated for Song of the Year.

The audiovisual producer Nuno Gomes participates in the Best Short Form Music Video category for “Mía” by the Chilean artist Cam.
