A24 is going all-in on its live-action Elden Ring film, with a budget reportedly exceeding $100 million and a 100-day principal photography schedule.

This marks the studio's largest and most ambitious undertaking to date, eclipsing even the $75 million budget of Civil War, its previous record-holder. Elden Ring's hefty budget and extensive shoot are a testament to A24's commitment to the project and its vision for bringing the beloved game to life on the big screen.

The film, directed by Alex Garland, boasts an all-star cast, including Cailee Spaeny, Ben Whishaw, Nick Offerman, Kit Connor, Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonathan Pryce, Ruby Cruz, John Hodgkinson, Jefferson Hall, Emma Laird, and Peter Serafinowicz.

Under the guidance of FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki and based on a mythological story penned by George R.R. Martin, the Elden Ring movie is set to release on March 3, 2028.
