Bradley cooper takes the reins of ocean's eleven prequel

Hollywood heavyweight Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in, write, and direct the upcoming Ocean's Eleven prequel, according to Variety.

Cooper's triple threat role aims to keep production on track.

After two directors exited the project earlier this month, Cooper's involvement could be a game-changer. As the film's lead star, his signature could help keep the project on schedule and ensure it's shot before the year's end.

The Ocean's Eleven prequel is set in 1960s Europe and explores the events leading up to the 2001 film starring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Brad Pitt.

Meanwhile, Clooney is also working on another Ocean's movie, this one delving into the characters' older years and their attempts to stay one step ahead of the game despite physical limitations.

Cooper, who made his directorial debut with 2018's A Star Is Born, has since written and directed Maestro and Is This Thing On. His triple threat role on the Ocean's Eleven prequel would mark a significant step in his career.
