Dune: part three arrives in december

After years of anticipation, Denis Villeneuve's ambitious sci-fi trilogy based on Frank Herbert's classic novels is finally nearing its conclusion. Dune: Part Three, starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, will hit theaters on December 18, 2026.

Plotting a new era

Seventeen years after the events of the previous installment, the story picks up with Paul ruling Arrakis as the Messianic leader, while the jihad he sparked has claimed billions of lives. Haunted by visions of an inevitable apocalypse, he must confront a mortal conspiracy orchestrated by the Bene Gesserit, Tleilaxu, and Spacing Guild.

As Chani (Zendaya) grapples with the rejection of an empire that doesn't recognize her, the return of a specter from the past threatens to destabilize everything.
