However, when Jack becomes increasingly enthralled by hunting and competition for power, he begins to drift away from the group, sparking a descent into primal chaos.

Without adult supervision, the boys' absence of rules and boundaries allows their more savage instincts to take over, leading to a nightmarish world of power struggles, violence, and death.
