Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has officially become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, surpassing Deadpool & Wolverine and exceeding the $1 billion mark earlier this month. The film currently stands at $1.34 billion in reported gross earnings.

Ryan Reynolds Congratulates Nolan

Despite losing the title, Ryan Reynolds publicly congratulated Nolan and the The Odyssey team with a humorous video posted on social media. The video playfully juxtaposes scenes from both films, featuring Matt Damon's character alongside Deadpool and Wolverine in a Honda Odyssey minivan.

“I take it back,” Deadpool says in the clip. “The Odyssey f*s hard.” Reynolds captioned the post, “Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of The Odyssey for becoming the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time. That is one helluva car.”
