Aerosmith resumed its new series of shows in Las Vegas, in the best Elvis style

The legendary band will spend weeks at the Dolby Live Theater at the Park MGM hotel, with “Deuces Are Wild”, a show full of classic hits.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the rock group Aerosmith successfully resumed the series of shows that began in Las Vegas in April 2019, and continued until it was interrupted in July 2020.

It is a “residence”, in the style of Elvis Presley in the ’70s, or as Celine Dion, Elton John and the Cirque Du Soleil shows later did.

Aerosmith fans sold out and the group will continue in “Sin City” until the beginning of next year, always in the brand new Dolby Live theater inside the Park MGM hotel.

There was also another postponement in June of this year, due to the hospitalization of singer Steven Tyler for “substance abuse”, at the age of 74.

According to Aerosmith’s first statement, when it announced these shows in 2019, “In the Dolby Live room, Dolby Atmos takes live performances to the next level by drawing listeners inside the music to reveal details with clarity and depth. incomparable. Whether it’s hearing the movement of layers of instruments, catching the subtle breath a singer takes between lyrics, or being enveloped in a wave of melodies, nothing compares to listening to live music with Dolby Atmos.”

According to all the comments of the debut, Aerosmith was in perfect condition and rocked like in his best times. The musicians took the stage after a video with historical images of her long career, and Tyler showed off singing and waving the long stand microphone and shaking her typical bandanas and scarves.

In true Kiss fashion, he yelled “They ask for it, they got it!” and sang hits like Love in an Elevator.

Steven Tyler’s complicity with guitarist Joe Perry confirmed the effectiveness of a partnership that was often compared to Jagger-Richards but in an American version. They even did a solo acoustic set that wowed the crowd and prompted the singer to bring a fan who sat next to him onstage while they played.

In honor of the Las Vegas residency, Tyler donned a smart jacket and had poker cards taped to his pants. She only did one costume change before Living on the Edge.

The production took advantage of the room’s acoustics to add a violin section to the 1998 hit, Don’t Want to Miss a Thing. Also, when they did Toys in the Attic inflatable dolls of elephants, teddy bears, vampires and dolls fell.

The final stretch was another string of hits: Dude Looks Like a Lady Y Walk This Way.
