Named by Time magazine as one of the most influential people of 2019 and considered a “pop prodigy” by Rolling Stone magazine, Khalid will perform at the CDMX Arena and the Telmex Auditorium in Guadalajara on October 12 and 13, respectively.

Since his first single “Location” was released alongside his four-platinum debut album, American Teen, Khalid’s success and recognition have been constant. His second album “Free Spirit” released in 2019, has more than 13,400 million reproductions worldwide, was recognized with great success by music critics, the New York Times declared it a “Critic’s Pick” and the Associated Press qualified it as “excellent”. This album, certified platinum by the RIAA, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and its single “Talk” was nominated for number 1 at the GRAMMYs.
Called a “pop prodigy” by Rolling Stone magazine, Khalid has over 30 billion streams worldwide, has been nominated for 7 GRAMMYS and has won numerous awards including: 6 Billboard Music Awards, 3 American Music Awards, a Teen Choice Award, an MTV Video Music Award and an MTV Woodie Award. His talent has allowed him to create several successful collaborations such as: “Love Lies” (with Normani), “Eastside” (with Halsey and Benny Blanco), as well as hits with artists Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, Marshmello and more.
In 2020, Khalid released “Eleven”, a critically acclaimed track and his smash hit “Know Your Worth” with Disclosure. That same year he was named the youngest artist to surpass 15 billion streams on Spotify alone and was named BMI’s Pop Songwriter of the Year (along with Post Malone). During the summer of 2021, Khalid premiered his song “New Normal” at the launch of Virgin Galactic’s spaceship “Unity 22”, the song was played inside the ship while they were re-entering the ground, even Khalid also made a presentation for the crew, including Sir Richard Branson, after they completed their mission. To close out 2021, Khalid released his Scenic Drive tape, which he describes as a companion piece to his 2018 Sun City EP.

Earlier this year, Khalid released “Last Call” in celebration of the fifth anniversary of his four-time GRAMMY platinum-nominated debut album, American Teen, and in April, Khalid shared “Skyline,” which is the official single from his highly anticipated third studio album due out later this year. His latest offering “Numb” with Marshmello marks the artist’s second collaboration after his smash hit “SILENCE”, which was considered six times platinum.

On September 13, 2018, the Mayor and City Council of El Paso, Texas honored Khalid with a “Key to the City” marking this day as “Khalid Day.”
