Live music seems to return to normal, and proof of this is the celebration of the MTV European Music Awards 2021. Justin Bieber He started out as the favorite of some awards held in the city of Budapest as he was nominated in eight categories, but the interpreter did not get any recognition and was surpassed by BTS. The boy band most famous of kpop monopolized the attention to win all five prizes who he chose during the night as Best Pop Artist, Best K-pop Artist, Best K-Pop Video, Best Group and Best Fans.
Another of the undisputed winners of the night was Ed Sheeran. The interpreter of “Shivers” flew from Mallorca, where he picked up four awards at the Los40 Music Awards last Friday, and went straight to Hungary to continue his weekend full of awards. During the MTV gala he won the award for Best Artist and Best Song by “Bad Habits”. A theme that he did not perform on stage, but that he did with “Overpass Graffiti“.
The event, hosted by rapper Saweetiealso featured performances by Maluma, Imagine Dragons and Måneskin. The latter did not go unnoticed when getting on the Laszlo Budapest Sportarena of Hungary and release the energy of a band that, since winning Eurovision 2021, continues to grow at an unstoppable rate in both hemispheres.
Like Ed Sheeran Aitana attended the Los40 Music Awards gala in Palma de Mallorca and returned with the award for Best Live Artist in the national category. And as if that were not enough to obtain recognition in a weekend, the interpreter was also awarded the MTV award for Best Artist in Spanish. And although she could not go to pick it up, the organization published a video where the interpreter was able to thank the support received.

Rosalía was also nominated in the category of Best Latin Artist. A recognition that went directly to the Colombian Malumapresent at the gala, and which he collected stating that “Colombia is no longer Pablo Escobar”.
During the red carpet, which started at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, not only the nominated artists passed by, but also well-known faces such as Marina Rivers, Dulceida or Jedet.
