There is less left to enjoy one of the most anticipated musical events of the year. The MTV EMAs return with the desire to recover what the pandemic took from us for a while: live music. After the telematic gala of the 2020 edition due to covid, the organization announced that this year everything returns to the long-awaited normality. On Sunday, November 14, the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna (Hungary) will become the sanctuary of European music.

Maluma will perform at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards
The MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 will feature the participation of great international stars. Maluma, Måneskin and Kim Petras will take to the stage of the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna (Hungary) to sing their best songs. So will the Italian rock group Måneskin, who won the 2021 Eurovision edition. The Italian band, nominated for ‘Best Rock Artist’ and ‘Best Group’, will perform one of their most successful songs: ‘Mammamia’.

Who will present the gala?
The rapper, actress and entrepreneur Saweetie will be in charge of hosting the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards gala. The singer will not only present the event, but will also perform two songs, ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Back To The Streets’, by her debut album Pretty Bitch Music. “Anything can happen at the MTV EMAs,” said Saweetie, who is also nominated for Best New Artist, along with Olivia Rodrigo, Giveon, Rauw Alejandro, Griff and The Kid LAROI.
The rapper has already racked up over 100 million streams on Spotify and has gone RIAA platinum with her song ‘ICY GRL’ and double platinum for ‘My Type.’
Who will deliver the prizes?
Rita Ora, supermodel Winnie Harlow, international musician and producer Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), WWE superstar Drew McIntyre, international singer and actor Olly Alexander (Years & Years), international DJ and producer Joel Corry and singer Brazilian Manu Gavassi will be in charge of delivering the awards at the 2021 MTV EMAs.

Spanish music will be another of the great protagonists of the night. Five of the Spanish singers with the most international projection will compete for the award for ‘Best Local Artist’. The nominees are: Aitana, the female artist repeats after being nominated last year; Ana Mena, one of the most successful artists of the Spanish urban pop genre; C.
