MTV Video Music Awards 2021: how many nominations does BTS have and in what categories?

bts was nominated in five different categories, after mtv officially reveal the most nominations for the upcoming award ceremony of the Video Music Awards 2021 (VMAs)which will be held this September 12 at the Barclays Center in Brooblyn, New York.

Artists like Justin bieber, lead the nominations with seven nominated categories, followed by Megan Thee Stallion with six, Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo are located behind with five, being the band of k pop the only musical group with so many nominations this year.

This year’s nominees for Best K-Pop are ‘DUMDi DUMDi’ by (G)I-DLE, ‘icecream’ of BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez,’butter‘ of btsgambler‘ of MONSTA X, ‘Ready-to-Love’ of SEVENTEEN Y ‘Alcohol-Free’ of TWICE.

In addition to Best K-Pop, bts is also competing for Song of the Year, with ‘Dynamite’, Best Pop with ‘Butter’, Best Choreography with ‘Butter’ and Best Editing also with his single ‘Butter’, that is, four different nominations with the same song.
