Ozunawho is a finalist in the Billboard 2021 Awards Artist of the Year category, is preparing a musical collaboration that will leave his loyal fans speechless, as he revealed that his next single will feature DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion and K-pop superstars BLACKPINK.
“I’ll bring (the ‘Taki Taki’ experience) back with another dose with DJ Snake. It’s coming out very soon, it’s a first: DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion, BLACKPINK and Ozuna,” the Puerto Rican released the news. during the red carpet of the MTV VMAs 2021.
As expected, Ozuna’s statements caused a real stir among his fans and those of the Korean group BLACKPINK, as this would be the first time that the urban genre and K-Pop merge.
It is worth mentioning that Ozuna’s next single would be the second time that the Puerto Rican collaborates with William Sami Etienne Grigahcineartistically known as DJ Snake.
Let’s remember that it was in 2018, when Ozuna and DJ Snake launched together with Cardi-B Y Selena Gomez the song ‘Taki Taki’, single that allowed the reggaeton player to conquer the international music scene.
In addition to giving the scoop on his next release, Ozuna took the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards to perform his song ‘La Funka’ for the first time, and along with him, four cute little bears who also danced to the song.
This presentation took place to start with the promotion of his next record material that will be called ‘Ozutochi’ and of which ‘La Funka’ is the first single.
Although the artist has not yet revealed the date on which his new album will be released, without a doubt, the song with DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion and BLACKPINK will be one of the most anticipated.
Ozuna is a finalist in seven categories of the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2021. The Puerto Rican competes in: Artist of the Year; Song of the Year, Sales and “Latin Pop” Song of the Year for the single ‘Mamacita’ in collaboration with black Eyed Peas; Song of the Year, Airplay for ‘Caramelo (Remix)’ with Carol G Y Mike Towers; “Top Latin Albums” Artist of the Year, Male; Tropical Song of the Year for the song ‘Travesuras’ with Nio Garcia, magic casper, Wisin & YandelMyke Towers and Flow the movie; and “Latin Rhythm” Artist of the Year, Solo.

The 2021 Billboard Awards ceremony will take place next Thursday, September 23 starting at 7pm/6c from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, and will be broadcast entirely LIVE on Telemundo.
