The Canadian artist performed in Brazil on Sunday as part of the Rock In Rio festival. In early June, the singer shared a video on his social networks in which he explained that he had to suspend his shows because he suffered from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

“I wanted to update you on what has been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome,” she said in the video he posted on her Instagram account. As he explained, the virus attacked his facial nerves, causing facial paralysis.

The first tents that were set up outside the Estadio Único de La Plata have been going on for a month. Many of the girls traveled from other provinces to wait for the weekend of the shows and now they don’t know what will happen to their favorite artist.

According to Brazilian media, the singer would be canceling his tour due to mental health problems and they assure that close sources reported that he would be going through a “very complicated” psychological moment. From the production of the shows, both in Chile and Argentina, there is no information about it.

Justin kicked off his international tour in May and will last until March of next year. In a statement, the artist highlighted that it would be a tour of five continents, reaching more than 20 countries and with more than 90 dates, with more shows to be announced in Asia and the Middle East.

Bieber sold more than 80 million albums and last year broke Elvis Presley’s record as the youngest solo artist to have 8 albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. In August, Justin went on to have more than 83 million albums. streams on Spotify.

Also named Artist of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards and nominated for 8 MTV EMAs, Bieber remains the #1 artist on both YouTube and Spotify worldwide, cementing his place as one of the biggest 21st century pop stars.
