Migrations, biodiversity or equality are some of the topics that more than a hundred young people from Argentina, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay will address with experts from different fields of science, the arts, education or cooperation in ‘Challenges’. The objective of the new ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030’ program is to encourage dialogue on sustainability among adolescents so that they reflect and share their concerns. And they will do so based on the questions posed by figures such as the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Rigoberta Menchú Tum; the historian and thinker Yuval Harari; or the therapist and writer Jorge Bucay.
‘Desafíos’, which premieres simultaneously in six countries and is broadcast weekly through the youtube channelthe Web and the social networks of ‘Aprendemos juntos’, will have a total of 10 chapters -introduced by the actor Ricardo Darín- in which 10 challenges associated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are proposed. The challenge of prejudices it will be hosted by actress Wendy Ramos; the one of the planet mountaineer and trainer Karla Wheelock; the one of the violence the philosopher and professor David Pastor Vico; the one at differences the athlete and Princess of Asturias Award for Sports Teresa Perales; the one of the biodiversity biologist Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente; the one at uncertainties the psychotherapist doctor Antonio Ríos, the one from the equality the social entrepreneur Bisila Bokoko; the one of the Water the explorer and documentarian Céline Cousteau; the one at migrations the musician and composer Ariel Rot; and the one of wellness psychologist Walter Riso. With this new initiative of the BBVA education project, ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030’ aspires to become over the next 10 weeks a space for conversation about the challenges that young people are facing at this time.
