ODDO BHF Forum brings together more than 300 issuers and 1,100 investors – El Asesor Financiero

The Franco-German group celebrates the 25th anniversary of ODDO BHF Forum in 2022 and has decided to renew the event by organizing its traditional Forum in 100% digital format for corporate clients and institutional investors from January 6 to 11, and recreating a television network, ODDO BHF Live, where fifty personalities from the world of politics, business and finance. Throughout more than 20 hours of live broadcasting, the challenges which Europe will face in the coming decades.

For this XXV edition, 322 issuers (small, medium and large capitalization) have responded to the invitation sent by ODDO BHF (compared to 293 in 2021 and 250 in 2020) to meet with almost 1,100 international investors (compared to 1,000 in 2021 and 600 in 2020 ), 50% from France, 9% from Germany, 13% from North and South Europe, 19% from the UK and 9% from North America. More than 10,000 meetings (10,000 in 2021 and 6,400 in 2020) have been organized in individual, public and small group sessions. In these meetings, French, German and European companies seeking financing to support their growth and development projects have a space to to converse with investors from all over the world.

Taking advantage of that France takes over the presidency of the European Union For six months, ODDO BHF Live will focus on Europe and the joint challenges Europeans face from 2022: the persistence of the pandemic, the fight against climate change, the financial innovation, artificial intelligence, the agri-food revolution and the reaffirmation of Europe’s sovereignty in the world, especially before the giants of America and China.

To answer these questions, ODDO BHF has invited a panel of fifty decision-makers and personalities from the political and economic sphere to join to its experts and analysts on the Gabriel studio stage or virtually from Germany, the United States or China, for more than 20 hours live, which can be accessed by the private and institutional clients of the Group, as well as those of its partners Natixis-CIB and BBVA, with the aim of offering this event in director to more than 10,000 individual and institutional investors in Europe and the rest of the world.

Known personalities from the political world who have confirmed attendance include Al Gore, Vice President of the United States and winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize; Sigmar gabriel, former Vice Chancellor of Germany; Peter altmaier, former minister of economy and energy of Germany; Clément Beaune, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs; Y Markus soder, Minister President of Bavaria.

A large number of representatives of French, European and international companies also meet with ODDO BHF experts to offer their analysis of the situation during the pandemic, explain how their companies have adapted and present their perspectives, including: Stéphane Bancel (CEO of Moderna), Thomas buberl (CEO of Axa), Jean-Charles Decaux (CEO of JCDecaux), Luisa Gómez Bravo (director of investment banking at BBVA), Wave Källenius (CEO of Daimler), Yan Lan (director of Lazard Bank in China), Fabienne Lecorvaisier (Deputy CEO of Air Liquide), Catherine MacGregor (CEO of Engie), Laurent mignon (Chairman of the Board of Directors of BPCE), Patrick Pouyanné (CEO of TotalEnergies), Angela titzrath (CEO of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG) and Changpeng Zhao (CEO of Binance).
