World Blood Donor Day commemorates the birth of Karl LandsteinerAustrian pathologist and biologist, who discovered and typified the blood groups of the ABO system, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, in 1930. Landsteiner was born in Vienna on June 14, 1868.
The classification of blood groups allowed blood transfusions to be carried out between compatible people, without the risk of rejection.
Activity program
The Regional Hemotherapy Center has scheduled the following activities:
Monday 13: Art exhibition in the access room to the establishment, Bolívar 687. Works made by children who carry out rehabilitation in APADI Salta will be exhibited.
Tuesday 14: Collection of blood from all groups and factors in Plaza 9 de Julio, on Calle Caseros. Donations will be received on mobile, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Reception of blood donations from all groups and factors at Bolívar 687, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 15: Club Day, under the motto Connected by a Feeling of Solidarity. The sports clubs Central Norte, Juventud Antoniana, Gimnasia y Tiro, San Antonio and Peñarol and the Secretary of Sports have been invited.
Directors, partners and players of these institutions will attend to donate blood.
Thursday 16: Tribute to General Martín Miguel de Güemes. Informative and awareness-raising talk for 5th-year students at the Martín Miguel de Güemes Agrotechnical School, located on Jorge Banchik Avenue, on the way to the airport. The Gauchos de Güemes Traditionalist Association and its member forts have been invited.
An irreplaceable asset

Starting this Monday, the itineraries and stops of lines 1A, 2F, 3B, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6C, 8A, 8B and 8C will be modified as they pass through San Martín, between Pellegrini and Jujuy. Also on Monday, lines 1B, 2F, 2G, 3C, 7D and 7E will circulate again along Ituzaingó street.

Av. San Martín between Ituzaingó and Pellegrini (4ABC). As of the first service today, Monday the 13th, the routes and stops of different SAETA bus lines on Ituzaingó street will be restored.
In this way, lines 1B, 2F, 2G, 3C, 7D and 7E will return to their original circuit on Ituzaingó.
