Héctor Deheza is the author of the book “Atomic Hail”, interesting material referring to what are the dreaded hail storms in the province. About this, the writer spoke with FM Vos (94.5) and Diario San Rafael.
The author explained that the exposed material is not “conventional”, since the traditional and basic meteorological knowledge information is often known from storms, but his book is more advanced, even approaching astrophysics. “We see the hail issue in a different way. In reality, hail does not exist as it is proposed, hail is formed in fractions of a second ”, he explained, adding that the occurrence of hail occurs from solar radiation in summer, which emits huge amounts of photons, that have no electrical charge. These photons impact on the water molecules and when they collide they eject negatively charged electrons and occupy the place. “It happens that by expelling the negative electrons, the molecule is charged in another way, that is, it modifies its transfiguration and passes into a fourth state of water, which is that of plasma. In this situation, water that freezes when it is polar at zero degrees, starts to freeze at almost minus 40 degrees, that is, it cannot form liquids because its polarity is neutral, it is no longer a polar molecule. Hydrogen cannot associate them anymore and is a plasma. That plasma or those clusters are at heights in which the temperatures are very low, and they can reach minus 35 degrees, but the plasma condition does not allow freezing at that temperature (but it has to freeze at minus 40 degrees), it does not produces no freezing. But the clusters recover the lost charges and the molecules go back from being apolar molecules (without polarity), to being common molecules as they were before the ionization produced by neutrons and photons. When a lightning occurs, it returns the lost electrons (which were expelled as free electrons) to the storm’s cluster, then all those molecules that could not freeze to minus 40 degrees and that already by their height have very low temperatures incorporated, when passing from Neutral molecules back to their natural condition (by having received the electrons that were removed by solar radiation), they return to their condition of freezing at zero degrees. By being able to freeze at zero degrees, the freezing is abrupt and hail is produced, almost from gas to solid (without going through liquid) ”, he pointed out.
This is just a summary of all the explanation provided by Deheza in his book, which includes details about the mechanics of cloud formation and its physics, which in many cases contradict ideas that were held on this subject. There is the testimony of hundreds of renowned scientists in the world, including some Nobel Prize winners. He considers that “when looking at hail from another point of view, there are many more ways to control it than through airplanes.”
