The “Bouleversante” log by Nicolas Cloiseau – La Maison du Chocolat
La Maison du Chocolat promises an overwhelming Christmas with its 2021 yule log, which combines pastry and chocolate know-how. On the menu : fig Solliès violet, praline, almond biscuit and 69% dark chocolate mousse. A decor of 8 Christmas balls in dark chocolate sublimates the whole, openwork of 572 perforations and colored with a spray gun. A true work of goldsmith, signature of the House.

Maxence Barbot’s “Honey Spoon” – Shangri-La
Maxence Barbot continues to impress us with his unparalleled aesthetic creations! This year, the Shangri-La pastry chef pays tribute to his Breton origins with a sublime log honey buckwheat and candied lemon. An agreement that will be unanimous.

The “Infiniment Praliné Pistache” log – Pierre Hermé
Among his many holiday creations, Piere Hermé unveils a fantastic log 100% pistachio : shortbread, soaked biscuit, praline, cream and Chantilly cream… Enough to seduce all the guests who love dried fruit!

The “Alvéole” log by Tristan Rousselot – Prince of Wales
the honey is also in the spotlight at the Prince of Wales! Shaped beehive frame, with cells larger than life, the log of Tristan Rousselot will be a sensation with your guests. Inside are superimposed a crunchy almond praline, a honey biscuit from Trocadero, a creamy propolis, a mixture of vegetable resin and beeswax and a vanilla lemongrass mousse. A perfectly light and balanced dessert!

The lemon-crumble log – Éric Kayser
To feast at a lower cost, Éric Kayser has developed a whole range of tasty and colorful logs. Between acidity, smoothness and crunchiness, the lemon-crumble version stands out for its originality. The iconic “Éric Kayser” log (vanilla crème brûlée and dark chocolate mousse) will also be there!

The “Pear of Love” by Jérémy Del Val – Dalloyau
On the Christmas 2021 program at Dalloyau: colors, sweets, delicacies and a touch of madness. On the log side, the funfair lollipop invites you to rediscover your child’s soul during a meal. Revisited by the pastry chef, the candy combines vanilla, pear, pecans and chocolate. Regressive at will!

Adrien Bozzolo’s Yule Log – Mandarin Oriental
It is one of the most beautiful creations of the year! Inspired by a “drop of water” Christmas bauble, dressed in elegant red and white cable patterns, Adrien Bozzolo’s log contains flavors in its heart. pear, yuzu and hazelnut. We would almost want to hang it on the tree!

Juan Arbealez’s frozen log – Picard
For a most gourmet Christmas, the favorite French brand has teamed up with chef Juan Arbealez. Overflowing with creativity, it offers a excellent log in the shape of cocoa pod giant, made from three different ice creams: milk chocolate, coffee and vanilla. A delicious crisp walnuts, hazelnuts and pecans bring even more texture and balance to the whole.

“L’Envol” log – Pierre Marcolini
Prepare for a real enchanting Christmas with the Pierre Marcolini log collection! Voted best pastry chef in the world in 2020, he revisits his signature desserts, including “L’Envol” (1st prize at the World Pastry Cup in 1995). The dessert consists of a dark chocolate mousse Grand Crus of Cuba-Sao Tome origin, a creme brulee orange and a crunchy hazelnut. Flavors that will delight your guests!

“La Vie en Rose” log – Jean-Paul Hévin
Christmas will be festive with Jean-Paul Hévin who has chosen “Lendemains qui chantent” as his theme this year. We find in this log – named after the famous title of Edith Piaf – a vanilla, caramelized and peppery crème brûlée and a dark chocolate Grand Cru from Peru mousse. Gluten free, it is one of the lightest desserts to place in the center of your holiday table.

Angelo Musa and Élisabeth Hot’s “Festive” log – Plaza Athénée
We also fall for this log with the Christmas ball look that goes off the beaten track! To tell the history of cocoa, the palace chefs have incorporated all the elements of the pod into it: nibs, mucilage, cascara, bean… Creamy, tender and slightly crunchy, it will delight cocoa lovers!

The Yule Log by Michael Bartocetti – George V
For once, Michael Bartocetti unveils a splendid Yule log. This reinterprets the curves tree and displays five levels each displaying a different flavor and texture: chocolate, buckwheat, Gwell (fermented milk), praline, crisp and … a touch of Espelette pepper. Surprising, but delicious!

The “Clair de Lune” log by David Wesmaël – La Glacerie Paris
To finish the meal on a lighter note, nothing like an ice cream log. In Paris, the palme d’or goes to MOF David Wesmaël, which this year offers a collection inspired by flavors of the world. In this moon-like log hides a nougatine with sesame, an iced nougat with dried fruits, a Clementine-mango-orange sorbet and a compote of red fruits. Another creation will also be available exclusively at Lafayette Gourmet : the Frozen confectionery, made of chocolate marshmallow, calisson ice cream and almond dragee, orange-mango sorbet, cherry compote, star anise-lime granita. A treat that will delight young and old!
