Six concerts and three rhythmic evenings at Instant Jazz
Grabels. The park of the Grabels castle is hosting the 3rd edition of the Instant Jazz festival, sponsored by the City and the Francine Nordland music school. After the shows signed by the Montpellier collective Furens Nouba and the saxophonist Philippe Chrétien on Thursday, four concerts are on the program for this Friday and Saturday.

Brazil celebrates
Palaces. Dances, costumes, decoration and traditional dishes: it’s a real Brazilian Arraia organized this Sunday, July 10, by the Montpellier association Bien Brasil.
From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the M hut, all the ingredients for this popular early summer celebration will be brought together. “The Arraia is a tradition that comes from the northeast of Brazil but has spread throughout the country,” explains Luciana, who organizes the event with Fabiano, dance teacher, Marco and Cristiana. The Livrodrome is a literary amusement park, itinerant, free and unique in France, dedicated primarily to (pre) adolescents from 11 to 18 years old, which is setting up for the first time, and for its 6th stage of its Tour 2022, in Montpellier, this July 8 on the place of the Golden Number.

Palavas-les-Flots celebrates its fishermen
The procession will leave Sunday at 11 a.m., after mass.
Sea Festival. Like every year, Palavas-les-Flots celebrates its fishermen and an ode to the sea! The festivities will begin on Saturday morning with, from 8:30 a.m., trolling at the Maison de la mer. There will then be some entertainment around the tourist office (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. then from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) , way to sip a well-deserved aperitif.
Beware, at 2.30 p.m., the Sea Olympics on the canal, hosted by the peña and at 8.30 p.m. jousting tournament with the Émile-Guiral trophy, still on the canal. Sunday, mass at Saint-Pierre church followed by a procession at 11 a.m. and a ceremony at the war memorials. The party will continue in the evening with a big popular ball with Goldstar, rive gauche, starting at 9 p.m. and a big fireworks display on the beach at the Hôtel de ville at 10:30 p.m. peepers!
It’s the Guigou Jubilee!
