What are the new Michelin-starred restaurants in the area?

The 2022 Michelin Guide winners were unveiled on Tuesday, March 22.

This is the consecration for the restaurant run by chef Dimitri Droisneau in Cassis. Villa Madie obtains its third star. Only two restaurants in France have been crowned and increased from two to three stars.

In our region, four restaurants earn their first star:

– Ceto, by Mauro Colagreco at Maybourne Riviera in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (Alpes-Maritimes)
– Hélène Darroze at the Villa La Costein Puy-Sainte-Réparade (Bouches-du-Rhône),
– Ludovic Turac with A Table in the South in Marseilles (Bouches-du-Rhône)
– Noël Bérard with The Bastide of Capelongue in Bonnieux (Vaucluse)

Other restaurants are moving upmarket, like the Blue Bay in Monaco with its Caribbean chef Marcel Ravin who gets his second star

The three stars of the region

The six restaurants retain their status as reference restaurants. Villa Madie joins this list of French gastronomic excellence.
