The 15e Golf Classic for the benefit of the Sourdine Foundation was presented on September 16 at the Fauna Club under the exemplary honorary presidency of Nicolas Potvin, President of EMU Equipment, also presenter of the event, in partnership with Congebec and Garco . It raised more than $50,000 in the interest of young people living with significant hearing, language and speech disorders, and who attend the École oraliste de Québec for hard of hearing or deaf children. 90 years old

Originally from Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, Jacqueline Lafleur Picard today celebrates her 90e birthday. Married on June 8, 1957 and widowed on February 13, 2018 (late Lionel Picard), she still lives in their house in the Les Saules district of Quebec, where she still cooks and even makes her apple sauce. A seamstress at home throughout her working life, Jacqueline still loves to knit. Describing herself as a “happy old woman”, she also keeps herself occupied by gardening. She has two children, André Picard (Johanne Bélanger) and Alain Picard (Carole Fauchon), as many grandchildren (Martin Picard and François Picard) and, since November 2021, a great-granddaughter whose name is Alicia (the daughter of Martin). The entire Picard-Lafleur family, as well as many friends wish him a “happy” birthday. Pictured are three generations with Jacqueline, Alicia and Martin.

To the health of the children!
