Transit Auto Parts

It was during a festive event that the employees and managers of Pièces d’auto Transit recently donated $ 100,000 to the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis Foundation. Five years ago, Stéphane Guay, the president of the company, challenged his employees to raise the same amount as the one donated by the company to the Hôtel-Dieu-de-Lévis Foundation. So two checks (one from the management and the other from the employees) for $ 50,000 were given to the Foundation. On the photo, from left to right: Stéphane Guay, President of Pièces d’auto Transit; Rachel Leblanc, Human Resources Director of Auto Parts Transit; Alexandre Desrochers, Director of Finance at Pièces d’auto Transit and Nathalie Samson, Executive Director of the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis Foundation.

A great lady

The Deschamps and Morneau families of Quebec are in mourning following the death of Madeleine Deschamps Morneau (photo) which occurred on November 27 at the age of 98 years and 3 months. Born Madeleine Deschamps, August 21, 1923 and eldest daughter of JB Deschamps, well-known printer of Beauport, she married, in July 1946, Fernand Morneau (died in 2005), of the Jos Morneau lumber yard, with whom she had 9 children: Nicole Danièle, Michèle, Louise, Jean, Marie, Monique (deceased), Hélène and François, all well known in their sectors of activity. Very avant-garde for the time, she encouraged her 7 daughters to do what they wanted to do for a living. Due to his encouragement to study, his 9 children all graduated from college and had different and successful careers in all walks of life. Very involved in several organizations, including some athletes, where her children and grandchildren competed internationally (swimming, diving, kayaking and skiing), she has also supported several causes and religious communities for many years. The funeral of this great lady of Quebec will be held later in the spring of 2022. Allow me to offer my sincere condolences to the whole family.
