War between the online video game community's biggest names heats up as Karl Jobst, a popular YouTuber with over a million subscribers, files a defamation lawsuit against renowned Donkey Kong player Billy Mitchell.

Jobst accuses Mitchell of spreading false statements about his personal and professional life, including claims related to his recent bankruptcy and crowdfunding efforts, which he alleges caused him emotional distress and financial harm. The YouTube creator is seeking damages for presumed and actual injuries.

The latest legal action follows a previous defamation suit Mitchell filed against Jobst in 2021, stemming from a video in which Jobst criticized Mitchell's gaming achievements. The court ultimately ruled in Mitchell's favor, ordering Jobst to pay the gamer nearly $240,000.

In his new filing, Jobst points to several public statements made by Mitchell, including an X/Twitter post claiming Jobst engaged in
