Genki has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Manta controller, a highly ambitious device boasting a full operating system, digital display, and a plethora of advanced features – all for $279.

Over-Engineered Controller Promises Cutting-Edge Tech

The Manta packs in features typically found on high-end controllers like torque vectoring (TMR) sticks, adjustable triggers with three distinct modes (Digital, Rapid, Analog), and advanced haptics dubbed “maglev haptics.” It’s compatible with Switch 1 & 2, PC, mobile devices, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Key Features and Specifications

Beyond the core features, the Manta includes six extra inputs (two top buttons, two integrated back buttons, and two removable back paddles), a swappable D-pad (cardinal or satellite dish), a nine-axis gyroscope/accelerometer/compass, and a 2,400 mAh user-replaceable battery.
