Mcdonald's launches pro gamer menu and afk device in turkey

Fast food giant McDonald's has introduced a new Pro Game Menu and an innovative 'Archie' device designed to keep gamers engaged during online play, but it's only available in Turkey. The Archie controller accessory brings the analog sticks together, allowing characters to continue moving even when the player briefly steps away from the screen.

The Archie device is a direct response to the common gaming behavior of players going AFK (away from the keyboard) in high-intensity moments. McDonald's Türkiye Chief Marketing Officer Özdeş Dönen Artak explained the insight behind Archie, stating that the fast food chain transformed this gamer behavior into an opportunity by offering the device as a gift to customers who order the Pro Gamer Menu.

The Pro Gamer Menu itself is a package deal featuring a Big Mac, medium fries, a medium Coke, and 8-piece onion rings, all available exclusively through delivery orders. This marks the latest attempt by McDonald's to capitalize on popular gaming and pop culture trends, following recent releases like K-Pop Demon Hunter meals and collectible cups inspired by beloved 90s and 2000s properties.
