Samsung unveils new mini led tvs, challenging budget gaming options
Samsung just upped the ante in the TV market with a fresh lineup of Mini LED models, including two surprisingly affordable options poised to disrupt the budget-conscious segment. The company’s latest offerings, the M70H and M80H, promise enhanced contrast and brightness thanks to their advanced backlighting Technology.

Mini led gets more accessible
These aren't just incremental upgrades. Mini LED backlights allow for more precise control over light, resulting in deeper blacks and brighter highlights – a significant leap beyond traditional LCD TVs. The M70H, starting at just $349.99 for a 43-inch model, aims to deliver this premium experience at a price point that's appealing to a wider audience. It features a 60Hz VRR panel, HDR10+ support, and Samsung's Tizen OS.
But the real attention-grabber is the M80H, beginning at $699.99 for a 55-inch screen. Its 144Hz VRR display positions it squarely as a strong contender for gamers, while a more powerful processor enhances image processing. Samsung is also releasing higher-end models, the QN80H and QN70H, with faster refresh rates and advanced AI upscaling. The QN80H, for example, boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and AI features designed to tailor the picture to individual preferences. A 100-inch QN80H is also on the horizon.
The choice is clear: Samsung is aggressively targeting both the entry-level and enthusiast markets with this expanded Mini LED portfolio. The competition is about to heat up.
