Users can disable the ‘Training for Generative AI’ toggle, preventing Twitch from utilizing their channel content for AI model training. However, this does not prevent Amazon from using the content for other purposes, as outlined in the Twitch Privacy Notice.

Strong User Opposition

Despite the ease of disabling the setting, many users express concern about its default activation. A prominent request on Twitch’s User Voice forums, with over 13,000 votes and 4,000 comments, advocates for making all AI features optional and opted out by default.
